flying machine #1

(or,

The utopian fallopian)

2010

This Seussian and fallopian flying machine is an exercise in futility, as it is strapped to the ceiling and has fans on both ends that would spin it in circles if it actually could move.  Originally created for an exhibition at Union County College, it is now on permanent display at the Staten Island Children's Museum with a grouping of other nonsensical flying machines called, DB's Fantastic Machines.
